Unified platform for regulated companies to understand, verify, onboard and monitor their clients: KYC, KYB, AML checks, risk engine, regulatory reporting. 30 clients across jurisdictions from Malta to the Cook Islands.
- Designed the architecture: one client graph underpinning corporate onboarding, due diligence and risk assessment; layered modules with enforced dependency direction
- Rebuilt the platform after the company split with a team of two: replaced a proprietary database wrapper and Bazel with Node.js and React, kept Go for graph computation, cut the features nobody could justify; first release by end of 2022, none of the cuts came back
- Built Reporting Hub end to end: natural-language reporting over an ontology of client data, covering regulator forms (FATCA, CRS) and ad-hoc queries; first version in two weeks, shipped to production
- Introduced AI-backed risk scoring through vendor integration while keeping rule configuration in-house, which brought false positives down
- Onboarded a multi-jurisdiction financial group as first client via a configurable rules model instead of per-entity code
- Hired and led engineering from zero to fifteen and designed the org structure; reworked analysis and delivery so throughput rose 1.5× without quality slipping
- Ran go-to-market with sales and marketing, turning client needs into the roadmap
